NOMINATED FOR BEST SHORT FILM AT BAFTA 2014.
"Sea View" is Jane Linfoot's fourth short film. It tells the story of 15-year-old Jess, as she meets up with an older man at a run-down seaside resort, and negotiates the pitfalls of adult disappointments and betrayals.
Produced by Anna Duffield [Sigma Films] as part of the BFI Shorts/Lighthouse scheme in 2013. It was one of the winning films of the competition, and was screened several times at the 2013 London Film Festival.
Won the Best Brit Short prize at the 2013 Leeds International Film Festival.
Was recently shown at the 2014 London Short Film Festival as part of a Jane Linfoot retrospective [also including "Youth" and "On Your Own" ]
